Quackity and Sam put together that they’re doing this and begin to recruit their own allies to protect themselves, albeit under the guise of trying to keep Dream in prison. They’ll use the fact that Dream is being tortured, along with the fact that Sam and Quackity are hunting them to keep it a secret, as a recruiting tool. If Purpled wins then Jack and Niki meet back up on their 2nd canon lives, and agree to recruit people to help them take out Quackity and Sam, cause otherwise they’ll keep sending mercenaries after them. Depending on which side loses will slightly alter the order of events as they begin to recruit allies, but overall it’s irrelevant to the story. Inciting incident: Purpled fights Jack and Niki.
Later in the stream Purpled shows up, revealing Sam and Quackity hired him to hunt down Jack and anyone he talks to. He reveals what he’s learned, and they hang out, debating the morals of Dream being tortured in prison. She activates it, teleporting Jack out of prison. Niki follows them, leading to an Enderpearl stasis chamber. Niki streams, and finds a book left to her by Jack: if he’s not returned to pick up the book by today, please follow these instructions.
Quackity insists that Sam never let Jack out, or he might tell everyone about the torture. But Jack sees Quackity come and go, covered in blood, a makes some remark about it. During Quackity’s next stream, where he introduces Kinoko Kingdom to Las Nevadas, at some point he tries to torture Dream, revealing his frustrations and failures. So he does, and Awesamedude throws in in a holding cell. Intro: Jack has said that he wants to commit a crime to get thrown in prison. Premonitions: In Fundy’s dreamscape and Karl’s Inbetween they are told they will need to make a difficult choice, Fundy sees the prison swarmed by Withers while Karl is told that Dream must be protected.
Preface: I doubt this is what will happen: too chaotic, too many characters with a part to play making it hard to schedule, and it seems at least Quackity and Ranboo have months of storyline already written for their characters. It’s centered around a genuine controversy within the community: does Dream deserve to be tortured? All characters will need to ask themselves this question, leading them to take a side in an epic siege on the prison. Tl dr A fan fiction of the upcoming big cumulative event.
